Confidentiality agreements restrict me from sharing work completed as an employee. Therefore, the samples provided in this portfolio are writing and editing samples from graduate school, freelance projects, projects created specifically for this portfolio, and/or voluntary projects. Some samples are similar to work performed in the workplace. However, work completed as an employee for internal audiences or external customers is not available if that content is not public-facing content.

The purpose of the following samples is to demonstrate that regardless of subject matter (technical or non-technical), I can communicate information in a usable manner for the intended audience and teach/train others in written communication. In my experience, no technical or professional communication context has been the same. The technology or tools used to create and publish content, subject matter or topic, and type of writing vary among organizations, which require communicators to constantly learn and adapt. One thing that has been constant is the writing process (from research to publishing).
